Koinonia
What is a Koinonia?
Koinonias are gatherings centered around specific activities and in fellowship with Christ. These gatherings are supplements to — not replacements for — Sunday gatherings, where the People of God gather to worship, or for Orthopraxis, our intro to discipleship and prerequisite for membership.
Instead, Koinonias are formed out of shared interests. Such gatherings are infused with an awareness of the Holy Spirit’s presence amongst the body and friendship through the bond of Christ.

What kinds of Koinonias are there?
EKKO offers three types of Koinonias. Hope you find a Koinonia that helps you connect with our community. There's something for everyone so click below to check out what's going on at EKKO!
Recreational
Based around a central activity or outing, recreational Koinonias are intended to help us connect to one another over fun, life-giving exercises and activities, and end with prayer. Beginners are encouraged to join!
Formational
Based around the desire to grow and mature, formational Koinonias are intended to center around books or practices that connect us in friendship while challenging us to pursue growing in Christlikeness.
Missional
Based around the desire to participate in the art of renewal with God, missional Koinonias are intended to center around the practice of serving our world on behalf of Jesus.
